Business e-mail on your own domain costs €6 per user per month, including spam filter and support. That is more expensive than a free address from a provider and considerably cheaper than the large office packages, which offer more than just email.

What determines the price
The number of mailboxes is the only real variable. Shared addresses such as information or administration can often be used as aliases, and they do not cost anything extra.
When comparing, pay attention to storage and what happens when an employee leaves: a PO box that you cannot transfer is a problem that you will encounter at some point.

- Storage by PO Box — determines whether you need to clean up.
- Transfer upon departure — arrange this before it is necessary.
- Spam filter included — should be standard.
- Where the server is located — within the EU there is no legal detour.

What to pay attention to
Delivery is the critical factor that you only notice when things go wrong. SPF, DKIM and DMARC must be correct, otherwise your mail will end up in your customer's spam folder.
We are honest about this: shared infrastructure means a shared reputation. If you send large mailings, a specialized party for those mailings makes more sense than your regular mail server.

Why not just a free address?
It is possible, but an address on your own domain demonstrably inspires more trust among business customers. Moreover, a provider address is not yours: if you switch, you will lose it and everyone will have to get to know you again.
Can I take my existing email with me?
Yes, in almost all cases your existing mailbox can be transferred including folders. We plan this outside office hours so that it does not inconvenience you.
Is this suitable for newsletters?
No, and that applies to any regular mail server. Use a specialized service for mailings; otherwise you will damage the reputation with which your regular mail is delivered.
