How much does an AI chatbot cost?
The construction price is one-off, consumption continues. Both should be included in your calculation.
An AI chatbot that answers from your own documentation starts at around €2,950. With links to your systems, multiple channels and human handover it is between €5,000 and €10,000. In addition, you pay model consumption, usually €20 to €80 per month: directly to the provider, without surcharge from us.

What determines the price
The model itself is hardly a cost item; the design around it is. Which sources can he consult, what can he do himself, and when must he transfer.
The biggest hidden item is your documentation. An agent can only answer what's written somewhere, and for most companies, cleaning up source material is the real work.
- Quality of your documentation — often the largest item, and the least expected.
- Number of links — each system is separate work.
- Number of channels — website is one, email and chat are additional.
- Perform actions — requests approval steps and error handling.
- Call volume — determines the monthly model consumption.

In addition to consumption, there is maintenance: keeping sources up to date and rereading conversations, especially in the first few weeks. An officer who answers outdated information causes damage.
We transfer the model account to your name. You pay directly to the provider and see exactly what you use: we don't charge anything over it.

Calculate how many hours per week are spent on repetitive questions, times your hourly rate times 46 weeks. If the result is less than the construction price, then it is not a good idea and we will say so.
Why is the account in my name?
Because you then see for yourself what you use and are not dependent on us. It also makes our promise that there is no surcharge on consumption verifiable instead of something you have to believe.
What if we don't get enough questions?
It doesn't pay off if you ask a few questions a day. Then a good FAQ page is cheaper and more effective, and we recommend that.
Can he also do it in English?
Yes. Multilingualism costs little extra, because the model can do it from home: provided your source material is in that language.
