Redesign your website.

Building a new site is the easy part. Putting it live without losing what you had built is the work.

Renewing a website costs the same as building a new one: from €895 for five pages and €1,795 for twelve pages with blog. What is involved is migration work: each old address receives a permanent redirect, ranking content is retained, and we monitor indexation for two months after go-live.

WHEN TO REFRESH

The signals that it is time

Not every site that feels old needs replacing. If the technology is good and only content is missing, then improvement is cheaper and faster: and we say so.

Replacement becomes the sensible route as soon as the basics are the problem: a heavy theme that you won't get quickly, outdated software that poses a security risk, or a structure where every change has to be done in a roundabout way.

  • Slow on mobile? — With a heavy theme you can't figure it out.
  • Any changes via the builder? — Then you pay for access to your own site.
  • Outdated software? — A security risk that won't go away on its own.
  • Not found? — First check whether you are indexed at all.
  • Hand built, without page builder — that's where the speed comes from.
  • Your existing content comes along — we keep what ranks.
  • Redirect from any old address — not a single page gets lost.
  • Two months aftercare — track indexation and detect 404s.
  • The site becomes yours — including source code, without transfer costs.

THE MIGRATION

Where most relaunches go wrong

The most expensive mistake in a relaunch is not design or technology but addresses. Without a referral, any old address loses the value it had built up, and you effectively start over.

The second is to take the opportunity to significantly shorten texts. A page ranks based on its content; cut it in half and you lose what you were found for. Rewriting is allowed, shortening is a risk.

  • Redirect card in advance — each old address to the most suitable new one.
  • Never everything to the homepage — that Google reads as a soft 404.
  • 301, not 302 — temporary does not transfer value.
  • Maintain ranking content — we first look at what is performing now.
  • Internal links updated — no references to old addresses.
  • Indexation monitored — two months, checked weekly.

WHEN NOT

When it is better not to innovate

If your site is technically sound and only content is lacking, updating is spending money on the wrong problem. Better texts and clearer evidence cost less and work faster.

And if you've only just gone live: give a site at least six months before reviewing it. Building positions takes quarters, and starting over resets that clock.

  • Technology is fine — then improve the content.
  • Site is less than six months old — give him time.
  • Your positions are good — don't touch what works.
  • The real problem is conversion — you solve that on the page, not with a rebuild.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

More about renewal

Will I lose my Google positions?

Not with a well-executed migration. A dip of a few weeks is normal and recovers; permanent loss indicates missing redirects or truncated content. We supply the redirect card and monitor the indexation for two months.

Is renovation cheaper than building new?

Usually not. The structure is the same and migration is added. What you save is content: texts and photos that are still correct are included.

Can I keep parts?

Often yes. We include working links, images and texts that perform well. We start by seeing what is performing now instead of throwing everything away.

How long does it take?

Five pages usually within two weeks, twelve pages within four. For many existing addresses, migration time will be added, depending on how much can be diverted.

What happens to my old site?

We will keep this available as a fallback point for at least a month, not publicly accessible. Putting two versions online would make them compete with each other.
