Making graphs is the cheap part. Getting the figures reliable and unambiguous is the job.
A dashboard that shows figures from one source starts at €2,950. With multiple sources, own calculation rules and user roles, it is between €5,000 and €10,000. Sources carry more weight than graphs
The number of data sources is the determining factor. Two systems that define “customer” or “revenue” differently need to be fine-tuned by hand: and that's a conversation about definitions, not technology.
The second factor is current affairs. Changing once a night is simple and sufficient for almost any decision. Realtime is a different project with a different price.

- Unambiguous definitions — what counts as a customer, what as turnover.
- Current affairs — daily is easy, real time is not.
- Calculated values — margins and forecasts require their own logic.
- Number of rolls — each role has its own rights and own representation.
WHEN NOT
When a standard tool is sufficient
If your data is in one common package, then that package almost certainly already has good enough reports. Building your own dashboard next to that means spending money on something you already have.
custom development becomes interesting as soon as you combine sources that do not link by default, or as soon as you need your own calculation rules that no package has.

- One-time analysis — that's an export, not a dashboard.

Is this not possible with a standard tool?
Often yes, and then we recommend it. Standard tools are strong as long as your data is in one common system. custom development pays off for sources that do not link or with your own calculation rules.
How current are the figures?
You decide that, and it determines the price. Daily refreshing is sufficient for most decisions; real-time is rarely necessary and considerably more expensive.
What if my systems do not connect?
Then there is sometimes an export-import route, but it is fragile. We find out in advance what each source allows before you start working on a dashboard.
Who maintains it?
We do that with a service contract from €49 per month. Without a contract, another party can take over: the code and documentation are yours.
Why not just more graphs?
Because a dashboard that shows everything is not read. Start with the three decisions you make every week; anything that is interesting but does not drive a decision can be discarded.
